Net shopping booms.(Brief Article)

Many Australians have turned to online shopping. Figures from Visa International confirm that Australians are the third-biggest users of online shopping web sites, behind the US and the UK. Visa figures show that Australians spent around $A617 million via the internet in March 2005. The average transaction was worth around $A142. Similar findings have been published by ACNielsen, which notes that there are now around 4.2 million online shoppers in Australia.
